This policy explains what information the Cosmoku games and this website collect, why, and the choices you have. Cosmoku (“we”, “us”) is an independent game studio run by Prithvi Krishna.
It covers:
- Cosmoku Waystation (formerly Pixel Arcade)
- Cosmoku Sudoku
- Cosmoku Escape: Arrows Puzzle
- The website at cosmoku.com
The short version
- You don’t need an account to play any of our games.
- Most of your progress is stored on your own device.
- The games are free and supported by ads. Ads are personalised only if you allow tracking when iOS asks.
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- When you talk to ORRY in Waystation, the recording stays on your phone and is never uploaded.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Player name. If you choose a name in a game, for example to appear on a leaderboard or the Waystation Register, we store it with your scores.
- Messages. If you contact us through this website, in-game feedback or email, we receive your email address (if you give one) and what you write.
- Android waitlist. If you join it, we store your email address.
Information collected automatically
- Game data such as progress, scores and settings. This is stored on your device and, in some games, also saved online with an anonymous player ID so that leaderboards and saves work.
- Identifiers. Our advertising and analytics partners use device identifiers to show and measure ads. Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) is only available to them if you allow tracking.
- Usage data, such as which screens and features are used and how you interact with ads, which helps us fix problems and improve the games.
- Purchase records. When you buy something in Sudoku or Escape, Apple processes the payment. We receive a record of what was bought and when, linked to an anonymous ID, so the purchase can be unlocked and restored.
- Notification tokens. If you allow notifications, a device token is stored so the game can send you reminders and updates.
Device permissions
Every permission is optional, and the games work without them.
- Microphone (Waystation). Used only while you talk to ORRY. Recordings are processed on your phone and never uploaded.
- Photos (Sudoku). Used only to save puzzle images you choose to export. We don’t read your photo library.
- Notifications. Used for reminders and updates.
- Tracking. Lets ads be personalised for you (see section 3).
2. How we use information
- To run the games, save your progress and show leaderboards.
- To unlock and restore your purchases.
- To show ads and measure how they perform.
- To understand which features are used and to find and fix bugs.
- To reply to your messages.
- To email you once when the games launch on Android, if you joined the waitlist.
3. Advertising
All three games show ads from Google AdMob. In Waystation, ads appear only when you choose to watch one, for example to double your points. Cosmoku Escape also uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK to measure how well our own advertising campaigns work.
When a game first asks for permission to track, your answer decides whether your advertising identifier can be shared with these partners for personalised ads and measurement. If you say no, you’ll still see ads, but they won’t be matched to you using that identifier. You can change your choice at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

5. This website
cosmoku.com doesn’t use cookies or tracking scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to us by email.
When you open one of our download links (cosmoku.com/get/…), we count the visit: which game, the app or site the link was opened from, the kind of device (iPhone or iPad, Android or computer) and the store you were sent to. Nothing that identifies you, such as your IP address, is kept with it.
6. Children
Our games are rated 4+ and suitable for everyone, but they are not designed specifically for children. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or the equivalent age where you live, beyond what is described here. If you’re a parent or guardian and think your child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. How long we keep it
We keep game data for as long as you play, and leaderboard entries until you ask us to remove them. We keep messages for as long as we need them to help you. Waitlist addresses are used only for the launch email.
8. Your choices and rights
- Turn tracking or notifications on or off at any time in the iOS Settings app.
- Deleting a game removes the data stored on your device.
- To have data stored online deleted, such as a leaderboard name, email us with your in-game name. We’ll delete it within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or India’s DPDP Act), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your information, or to object to how it’s used. Email us to make a request.
9. Security and international transfers
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure. Our providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes we’ll also let you know in the games.
